Born in Reykjavik, Iceland and raised in London, England, Harry Bilson is renown for his vibrant canvases filled with colour and occupied by harlequins, women, children and animals, often depicted in a carnival setting.

His paintings swirl with emotional intensity and reflect a great joy for life.

Bilson has exhibited in numerous one-man and group shows in the United States, South America, Japan and Europe. His works appear in several significant collections including: The Von Thyssen Collection, The Romanov Collection, and Arrowfield Horse Stud. He also has established an impressive list of collectors - Bob Hawke, Clint Eastwood, Jack Palance, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Liv Ullman and Jonathan Sachs, amongst others.
